Time Machine

If I had a time machine
I wouldn’t change a thing
If it weren’t for my past
Then I just wouldn’t be the same

Despite all the pain
And emotional drain
And things I’ve had to endure
I just wouldn’t be as pure

If I could take away
Things I didn’t mean to say
I wouldn’t have said what I meant
So I just said it anyway

I burn those bridges for a reason
And it’s all relative to the season
Even if I had that time machine
I wouldn’t change a thing

I have to say I like the way that things are turning out
Even though at one time, I started to have my doubt
Yeah, I’m glad
I’m so glad that I got out.
